My first post!

This is my first post on my blog! I'm not really sure what I should say... I think I will start off with the reason I named my blog stopping to smell the roses. My favorite flowers are roses, because my Grandma Roach has the most beautiful rose bushes in her back yard. Ever since I was a little girl she would let me smell them all and then pick the ones that i wanted, then she would cut them for me and put them in a vase for me to take home. Those are some of my favorite memories of her house. I also named my blog this because most of my posts will be about the little things that happen in my life. My life is not super exciting, so I will probably mostly post stuff that makes me smile or makes me happy. So here's to stopping and smelling the roses! I hope you enjoy my blog!
