about the name

Maybe you were wondering why I named my blog, stopping to smell the roses, oh you weren't? Well this is awkward.. anyway, I chose the title of my blog because my life isn't usually full of huge exciting moments, but mostly it's just full of a lot of small and beautiful ones. And I think that the small moments are just as important as the big ones. I also chose this title because I'm slightly obsessed with roses. My Grandma has the most beautiful rose bushes in her back yard, and ever since I was a little girl she would let me pick a bunch and put them in a glass mason jar to take home.
