I think I deserve the worst blogger of the year award, I never update this thing! Sorry to any of the readers who actually check for new posts, I'll try harder I promise! So lately I've been way too negative about my life so I'm just going to say some of the awesome things about my life right now. First of all I'm playing hooky for the day and am at home <3 seriously the best place on earth, that place where people really love and care about you no matter what! I had a really bad week last week, and I called up my parents in tears yesterday telling them about it and how I just needed a break and wanted to come home. They came and picked me up no questions asked, they took 2 hours out of their sunday just to come pick me up! I'm so lucky to have parents like them. They give the best advice too! Yesterday I was talking to my dad and he said, "That's what this life is just one giant big awkard moment. The trick is to get through it without becoming a bad person, and by finding the people who will love you through all the awkward moments." And my mom added "And getting through it without dissolving into tears." I love them so much and couldn't ask for better parents. Today I went grocery shopping with my mom she kept asking me if I needed any food, I kept telling her no but when we passed the nutella she said, "I think you need some of that!" and she bought me a $3 dollar jar of nutella, totally made my day! I also have the best roommates and friends anybody could ask for so a big shout out to all of them! Tonight I get to go see my dad's band play at a halloween dance in SF that I would have missed out on had I been at school right now, and my brother, and my sister in law who I haven't seen in what feels like forever will be there! It's going to be so fun I can't wait! So moral of the story is, life is good even if it's hard, because I have the privelage of having some really great people in my life! Happy monday everyone!
