Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! In the process of trying to decide what I'm most grateful for this thanksgiving I've been looking back on the past year a lot, and I've realized that I've come a long way! At this time last year I was still living at home, I was a senior in high school, and I had my first job. I hadn't experienced a lot of the things that I have this year, my mom probably said it best when she said that this year has been a 'growing year.' Some new things I've done this year,

Rock climbing
shooting
wake boarding
moved out of my parents house
started college
got my first 'real' job
made a lot of new friends

and those are just some of the things i've done this year. To me the weird thing about change is how normal it becomes, it's hard at first but then it becomes the new normal and you sometimes forget about the past. It's almost like before it comes you can't picture your life any different then it is, but then it does and you can't picture your life without that change that's happened. I'm not sure if that quite makes sense... Life is constantly changing good, or bad and sometimes it can feel really crazy, but I'm so blessed to have such good family and friends in my life.

I'm grateful for a lot of things, because I have so many blessings in my life! Just looking back on the year I can see where Heavenly Father has blessed me with oppertunities, people, and chances in my life. I can't wait for next year to see where I'm at in my life, to see the 'new normal' I'll probably look back to this year and think 'wow it's been a growing year.' and it probably will be. Happy holidays everyone!
I wanted to just share this video from lds.org with you guys it has a really powerful message, and I really liked it. ENJOY!
